The Town of Comox is situated on the east coast of Vancouver Island, approximately 115Km north of Nanaimo. Together with the City of Courtenay and the Village of Cumberland, Comox lies in an area known as The Comox Valley situated between the Beaufort Range and Comox Glacier in the west, and the Strait of Georgia in the East.

Mission Statement: Council will endeavor to manage growth in a way that maintains and enhances community livability. It will ensure that the character of its residential areas are protected and that its commercial areas are attractive, viable and complementary to their neighbourhood. It will protect important natural areas, provide green spaces, recreational opportunities and facilities to meet the needs of its citizens. It will retain an ambiance as a village by the sea.
