Summer Job Posting - Summer Day Camp Leaders & Hands on Farm Attendants

The Town of Comox Recreation Department seeks applications for enthusiastic, responsible Summer Day Camp Leaders and Hands on Farm Attendants. Summer Day Camp Leaders work from mid-June to the end of August offering various summer adventures to children 3-11 years old. Hands on Farm Attendants work from June to mid-August with campers 6 years and older and farm visitors of all ages and maintain a safe, clean and happy home for petting zoo animals.

Successful candidates will:

  • have experience supervising and leading children
  • deliver exceptional customer service
  • possess current Emergency First Aid and CPR Level C certification
  • pass a Criminal Record Check
  • have experience with small and medium size animal care for Hands on Farm positions
  • Hours vary depending on the program. Day Camp leaders work between 7am-5pm Monday to Friday. Hands on Farm Attendants work between 8am-5pm in various shifts as the farm is open seven days a week. Wages range from $12-$15/hour based on position, experience and qualifications.
