About Comox Recreation
We are located in the Comox Valley on beautiful Vancouver Island, British Columbia, Canada in what we call the Recreation Capital of Canada! Comox Recreation offers a wide variety of programs for all ages. Having just undergone extensive renovations, we now boast a new state of the art 5000 square foot Fitness Studio, and gorgeous 3000 square foot Multipurpose room, in addition to our Gymnasium, Racquet Courts, and Gymnastics Facility.
Vision Statement
The Recreation Services Department will strive to work in partnership with the community to provide exceptional recreational services and programs which foster a strong community identity and enhance community and personal health and well-being. We will provide services and facilities that are safe, innovative, inclusive, accessible, affordable, up-to-date and meet the needs of the community. Welcoming and life enhancing experiences for members of our community will be provided. We will support environmental and economic sustainability. The Comox Community Centre will be known as the heart of the community.
