Organic & Garbage Collection
Important Curbside Garbage Update:
To help stop the spread of COVID-19 and to protect our waste collection workers.
Please bag all garbage in securely tied plastic bags. Do not place un-bagged waste loose in your garbage containers.
Important Curbside Organics Update:
These items are temporarily NOT accepted with curbside organics pick-up:
- Paper napkins
- Facial tissues
- Paper towels
These products should be bagged, securely tied, and disposed of with regular garbage.
Reminder: Don’t flush unflushables! Disinfectant wipes, baby wipes and paper towels should be bagged, securely tied and disposed of with regular garbage.
If you or someone in your household is sick, all personal waste (tissues, gloves, masks, etc.) should be double bagged in securely tied plastic garbage bags for curbside collection.
These measures will help stop the spread of COVID-19 and protect our curbside crews so they stay healthy and can continue to provide waste collection.
Once COVID-19 health concerns have been resolved, these items will again be accepted in our organics program.
