The Comox Community Centre is closed until further notice. Staff are available to assist you by phone 250-339-2255 or by email email@example.com, Monday -Friday , 830am-430pm. We ask for your patience while we work through this ever changing situation.
Spring Programs – Frequently Asked Questions
1. I am currently registered in a Spring program and would like a refund?
We understand and are here to help. Please contact us at the Community Centre Monday – Friday, 8:30am – 4:30pm at 250-339-225 and we can withdraw you and process a refund. Please note: Refunds can be issued to original credit card, if this was done online or over the phone. Debit, Cash and in person credit card transactions will be issued as a cheque and mailed to you. You are also welcome to leave the refund as a credit on your account for future registration.
2. I would like to stay registered in my Spring Program. Will I be credited for the missed classes due to the closure, once the session resumes?
Yes, you will receive a prorated account credit or refund for any missed classes due to our closure.
3. Will I receive a refund if the entire session of my Spring program has been cancelled?
Yes, all refunds will be automatically processed once the final class of the session has passed and we are still not open. Please note: Refunds can be issued to original credit card, if this was done online or over the phone. Debit, Cash and in person credit card transactions will be issued as a cheque and mailed to you. You are also welcome to leave the refund as a credit on your account for future registration.
4. I have a current Fitness Studio Membership (1, 3, 6 month or Annual). Will my membership be extended?
All memberships have currently been suspended as of March 17th and will be resumed at your first visit to the Community Centre once we reopen. Original duration of memberships will be honoured.
5. What is the best way to stay informed about Spring Programs and Community Centre closure?
Please continuously check our Comox Recreation Facebook Page, www.facebook.com/comoxrec/, for ongoing announcements and communication. Please ensure your current email address is on your account as this allows us to email you specifics regarding your program. Announcements and communications will also be available through Recreation on www.comox.ca.
Welcome to the Comox Community Centre!
The Community Centre is a multi-award winning facility with a Fitness Studio, Multi-Purpose Hall, gymnasium and meeting rooms. We offer recreation programs, meeting spaces suitable for occasions big and small and Chimo Gymnastics, a non-profit gymnastics organization that operates within the Comox Community Centre.
The Community Centre partners with businesses to provide recreation programs. Look for programs with ' - C' at the end of their titles for programs offered by contractors.
