Big news from your Comox Valley recreation centres! Spring and summer programs will now be featured in one convenient Comox Valley Recreation Guide. The combined guide gives participants early access to summer program schedules to plan ahead. Moving forward, there will be three guides instead of four every year: spring/summer, fall, and winter.
The spring/summer guide will be released online on Tuesday, March 5. Printed guides will be available starting Wednesday, March 6, at recreation centres and various pickup locations around the Comox Valley. For more information, see courtenay.ca/guidepickup.
Spring/summer program registration starts March 11 for most regular programs, with a couple of exceptions. Registration for CVRD’s swim lessons at the indoor pools is March 11 also but for their regular programs, including summer camps, registration is ongoing. Registration for summer camps and the outdoor pool at Lewis Park starts Monday, April 15. These staggered registration dates give participants time to plan and budget for summer camps and outdoor pool classes.
